Just a reminder that we have 7am rehearsal on Friday morning. It is important for everyone to be there. We are making some changes to the drill and it will slow the process down if we have to do things multiple times for missing people.

Congratulations
I wanted to say Congratulations to the KHS Winter Guard on a great performance for the first show of the season. The guard was great overall, they behavior in a professional manner all day and represented themselves and KHS with Pride!!! Thanks to them all.

Saturday's contest at Vista Ridge HS
Hello to All!
REMINDER: We will have rehearsal tomorrow (Friday) at Rancier Middle School at 5 pm. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE THERE!
Just some information about the contest this saturday at Vista Ridge High School. All guard members need to be at KHS by 8am. The performance time is as of today on the TCGC web site is 1:28 pm.
PARENTS: There is a $7.00 admission fee to the contest.
GUARD MEMBERS: Here are some things to remember for Saturday
~You must have your windsuit and guard shirt on to get on the bus
~Hair needs to be pulled back in a pony tail and no "whispies" (if you can't put it in a pony tail pull it half back)
~Make sure you have the following items:
*Flag bag with equipment
*Duffle bag
*Make up (you will need to wear make-up a little darker than usual)
*Items for hair
*Black shirt
*Teal top
*Proper under garments - WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY BRA STRAPS!!!!!!!!!
*David you need your black pants and top
*Money for dinner and snacks
*Some type of snack for lunch
*Personal items for the trip
Also if you still owe money for marching band fees please pay those ASAP. I will be passing out a winter guard fee sheet next week. Those of you that do not have all the Marching Band fees paid by the 1st of February will be placed on the schools fine list.

Welcome Back and Finals Week
We had a great rehearsal this morning (Monday). Thanks to all that where there!!!!
Reminder that we will have morning rehearsal tomorrow (1/12) at 7:30 am and continue rehearsal through first period. This will be the ONLY rehearsal this week! Good Luck on your final tests.
A couple other reminders:
First Winter Guard Contest is coming up fast. It is scheduled for January 23rd at Vista Ridge High School. There will be more information to follow.
Second, the costume for that first show will be the black shirts and the teal tie shirts. I will have them for everyone to check out this week. You will be responsible for having a clear strapped bra, skin colored tights and black tight shorts. PLEASE make sure you have the correct under garments, we DO NOT want to see your bra straps.
Also if you still have marching band fees to pay, please do that ASAP!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all the KHS Color Guard, Parents and Friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and got everything they asked Santa for.
I look forward to seeing everyone again and comtinuing to develope our winter guard show. Enjoy your last weekend of the break and see you all on Monday!
